Public Participation Events

Between 27 July and 19 August 2016, we held a series of public participation events to provide an opportunity for local residents and other stakeholders to find out more about our project and to comment on our proposals. Members of the project team were present to answer any questions and to discuss any concerns.

National Grid issued a press release to announce the public participation events and exhibition materials displayed at the events are available here.

Between Monday 5 September and Friday 14 October 2016, we held a Phase 2 consultation on the high voltage direct current (DC) cable route corridor options between the preferred landfall and the converter station sites and the converter station design style options. Click here to find out more.
